How Can Digital Badges and Portfolios Show Proficiency?

This webinar event will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 4 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Digital Badges are an exciting way for students to show their progress and for schools to implement competency-based teaching and learning.

Digital Badges help increase student engagement, record achievements and measure students' skills and readiness. But how does a school community come to agreement about what it means to earn each badge, and how do badges connect to our current school or state requirements?

Join us for our webinar where you will see samples of how schools are implementing digital badges and collecting them into portfolios. You will also learn about the essential questions for successful implementation:

  • How do we define our badges and our competencies?
  • How do students present their best work?
  • How do we agree on what work is good enough?
  • How can students earn badges for achievement - while showing who they are as individuals?

Our expert, Dr. David Niguidula will take your questions.

We look forward to talking with you soon.
