About the presenter:

Dr. David Niguidula is author of the new ASCD book Demonstrating Student Mastery Using Digital Badges and Portfolios. He led the first research project on digital portfolios while at the Coalition of Essential Schools, Brown University in the early 1990's. Since then, he has worked with hundreds of schools and published extensively on personalized learning, educational technology, school change, and new modes of assessment.
