What purpose does your assessment tool serve? The Prosper assessment system provide a paper-based assessment solution designed to be used in the classroom and building. This formative assessment tool allows the teacher to monitor student learning toward state and district curricular standards and objectives. The system permits teachers to build their own tests from custom items or utilize test item banks available from Pearson NCS or those that come free with over 2,000 major textbooks. Tests are scanned and scored and reports generated by student, class, or subgroup on a single test or multiple assessments over time.

If you haven't already addressed it, how does your tool help students or teachers demonstrate that they are meeting standards? Individual student, class, or subgroup reports are available that track mastery or proficiency of standards on a single assessment or multiple assessments over time.
What are your next steps in developing or implementing this tool? We continue to enhance the tool to add functionality and expanding data analysis and data aggregation across a single building or districtwide. We are also providing the ability for users to purchase test item banks written by Pearson Education content specialists in core subject areas K-12.
