What purpose does your assessment tool serve? |
All preservice teachers are required to develop and maintain an electronic portfolio that contains artifacts collected each semester they are in the PreService Teacher Program. During the 1, 2 or 3 year program (Secondary, elementary, and early childhood respectively) each student must collect multiple artifacts that demonstrate his or her proficiency for each of the Florida Accomplished Practices (FAP). The student collects these artifacts from their courses, and selects appropriate artifacts for each FAP and reflects on why the choice was made and articulates a rationale for the choice that is included in the portfolio. |
