What purpose does your assessment tool serve?	TeacherWeb is an online assessment tool for my Jr. High Computer Literacy classes. It allows me to design online assessments such as weekly individual progress reports that my students complete and submit to me online. I also use it extensively to write study guides that students can work through, allowing them to see the correct response as they enter each answer choice. I also create tests and quizzes that students take online and then submit to me via email. Creating an online test key makes grading simple, but I can also look at individual student tests to identify deficiencies or problems.

How long has this assessment tool been in use within your organization?	I have been using TeacherWeb for three years.

What professional development (for students or assessors) is required to use the tool?	A TeacherWeb workshop (available for download) to introduce and set up the online tool; flexible work time set aside throughout the school year for teachers to add and update content
To use the tool effectively, what else should the school have in place?	Administrators may want to outline minimum requirements for each teacher's web to maintain consistency throughout the school district
If you haven't already addressed it, how does your tool help students or teachers demonstrate that they are meeting standards?	This tool can be used to take state assessment tests! In my curriculum it allows me to test student proficiency of the NETS for Students.
What questions would you like participants to address?	What advantages do you see in using an assessment tool such as this? What are the disadvantages? Do your teachers create and/or routinely use online assessments now? How could this tool be implemented in your school district?
