Portfolios for Graduation: Two recent issues of The Providence Journal discuss how students in the Class of 2008 are taking a new path to graduation. The March 9 issue featured a front page article about seniors experiencing the new requirements, while a December 19, 2007 article describes how Mt. Hope High School students and teachers discussed their portfolios with Governor Carcieri and Commissioner Peter McWalters. Graduation by Portfolio: The May 21st issue of Providence Business News showcases Ponaganset High School in N.
